Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, an 8th patch launched, big changes in sight?

Last year, Respawn Entertainment And EA Games they’ve thrown Star Wars Jedi: Survivora direct sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. A title with many qualities, but also quite a few technical flaws, the studios have therefore launched several patches to correct the situation.

Improvements will continue even in 2024, EA Games And Respawn launch today the eighth patch of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. But no big changes in sight, only improvements for the mode Slow and audio ping, as well as a high contrast mode to fine-tune the title’s accessibility. Here’s what patch 8 changes:

  • A new contrast mode high that allows players to desaturate the environment and use specific colors for narrative and gameplay elements to make them stand out more
  • A new feature in audio ping (navigation aid) which allows players to passively and actively ping the environment in order to echo locate nearby objects and interactive elements.
  • Several additional presets for Slow Mode which allow players to switch between their own setting and three new presets.
    • The presets are set to 30%, 50% and 75% and are available in the shortcut menu. Users will be able to switch between several different slow motion speeds, not just between the custom value and the default game speed.
