Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Big Bug Fix Update Launched & Detailed, More Coming Soon

Launched at the end of last month, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a very nice sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Orderbut unfortunately, the title suffers from major technical problemsespecially on computers. Respawn Entertainment And EA Games are obviously aware, they have apologized and have already released small patches.

Today, the studios are launching a big update for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, which should fix a lot of major issues. A patch already available on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S which will also arrive this week on PC, here is the changelog :

  • (PC only) Updated ray tracing occlusion behavior, reducing downtime;
  • (PC only) Updated broadcast budgets that helps mitigate traversal issues;
  • (PC only) Improved performance of some visual effects (coming soon to console);

  • (PC only) Updated data handling when switching to ray tracing improving non-ray tracing performance;
  • (PS5 only) Fixed a mismatch in HDR values ​​that caused HDR configurations to display incorrectly for PS5 users;
  • Fixed various save errors;

  • Соrrесtіоn a lightsaber рrоblèmе not displaying correctly in ѕсénаrіоѕ;
  • Fixed a scenario where the player would see their progress stall in the Lucrehulk;
  • Fixed an elevator bug where the player could fall, which could block their progress;
  • Fixed a bug that caused Rayvis to become unbeatable;
  • Fixed a serious animation glitch that interrupted an endgame story sequence;
  • Fixed a collision bug where players could get stuck inside a meditation room;
  • Added a note explaining that some BD-1 abilities are not available in combat;
  • Improved text scrolling;
  • Minor fixes in translations;
  • Various crash fixes.

Other updates are currently in developmentthe studios aren’t going into too much detail or speculating on a release date, but here’s what these future patches should fix:

  • (PC only) Improved performance on newer i7 and i9 processors;
  • (PC only) General performance improvements to improve CPU and GPU utilization while reducing downtime, with and without ray tracing;
  • (PC only) Improved some hitches that can be attributed to ray tracing data streaming, assets and a gap in our pre-built shaders;
  • Various bug fixes.
