Star Wars Jedi Survivor gets a final trailer that promises an epic adventure

Star Wars: Jedi Survivor received its final trailer ahead of its launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC at the end of the month, here’s everything the new video tells us about the game.

As part of Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023, Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts have released a new and final gameplay trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the sequel to 2019’s acclaimed Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Before its release on April 28the new trailer teaches us more about the history of the game.

The trailer begins by showing Cal waking up on an unknown desert planet, before seeing him tell Cere about the “weight of the galaxy on his shoulders.” We see Cal explore multiple planets, like Koboh and Coruscant, and battle Stormtroopers. The Jedi will even be able to cross the desert on a speeder bike while facing scouts and sending them flying in Tie-Fighters.

Jedi Survivor is getting new villains

In this new trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, we also discover a series of enemies that the protagonist Cal Kestis will have the mission to defeat. These include Separatist Droidekas protected by a shield, as well as the terrifying Rancor seen in Star Wars: Episode VI.

We will also be entitled to armored AT-STs, and new combat companions. Cal will be able to team up with many allies, including the crew of the Stinger Mantis, which includes former Jedi Master Cere Junda, Nightsister Merrin, pilot Greez Dritus and, of course, Cal and BD-8. Five years after the original game, the team has slowed down and settled on a single planet. Building a base of operations will be part of the gameplay, although players will still be able to travel to other planets, now through fast travel.

As one might expect, Jedi Survivor offers stunning graphics and immersive gameplay, fully exploiting the capabilities of next-gen consoles. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC at the end of April. We already know the PC configurations required, the game promising not to be as greedy as other AAAs.
