The first concerns the long-awaited Star Wars Jedi: Survivorwhich had returned to the spotlight during the Game Awardstrailer and release date to make players crack. It was then scheduled for March 17, 2023 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, but that was before… Indeed, it was pushed back, obviously so that Respawn Entertainment can offer a well-finished quality title from its launch.
From now on, you will have to wait until Friday, April 28, 2023 before discovering the new adventure of Cal Kestis. Here is the translation of the message shared on this occasion by the studio:
For the past three years, the Jedi team here at Respawn has collectively poured their hearts and souls into Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and we’re proud to say the content for the next chapter in Cal Kestis’ story is complete. . We are now fully focused on the final step: bug fixes to improve performance, stability, polish, and most importantly, player experience.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a direct response to feedback from our community, offering expansive locations to explore, advanced combat and movement, and of course, the continued story of Cal and comics. Building this game has truly made us a better team, and we’ve gone above and beyond to make this the Star Wars sequel our fans have come to expect from Respawn and Lucasfilm Games.
In order for the team to reach Respawn’s level of quality, give it the time it needs, and achieve the level of polish our fans deserve, we’ve added six crucial weeks to our release schedule. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will now launch worldwide on April 28.
