Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be ported to older generation, PS4 and Xbox One versions announced by Electronic Arts!

universe fans Star Wars regularly have content to eat, especially on the video game side in recent years and the pace will not slow down since we are waiting star wars outlaws on the side of Mass Entertainment (Ubisoft), star wars eclipse at the house of Quantic Dream and a title not officially named by Skydance New Media with the participation of Amy Hennig. However, it is the latest game to be talked about again this week, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

Released last April on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, the action and adventure game from Respawn Entertainment was then suffering from technical problems, partly corrected by updates in recent months. Since then, a job offer from the studio has suggested that a sequel is already in development. And yet, during the call with investors as part of the presentation of the quarterly financial results ofElectronic Arts, THE CEO Andrew Wilson just announced PS4 and Xbox One versions of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor speaking of licensing projects! Here is the translation of what he said via TechRaptor :

Yeah, we don’t have anything to announce today, but, you know, we have an amazing partnership with Disney and Lucas.

We’ve had incredible success in this partnership across the Battlefront and Star Wars Jedi franchises and entirely with Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes. Our teams are always thinking about new experiences we could create.

Of course, I’d love to see more of the Jedi franchise over time. It’s just an extraordinary game that tells an extraordinary story.

We may be a little biased, but our feeling, based on the feedback we get from our community and the quality of the product, is that this is one of the highlights of the Star Wars galaxy this year, and that ‘it will probably continue to be a very significant part of this galaxy for many years to come.

As we bring it to PlayStation 4 and Xbox Onewe think there will be another little shake up there for the franchise and so, nothing to announce today other than that we have an incredible relationship with Disney.

We’ve had incredible success so far in this partnership, and to the extent that we can find new opportunities to run new experiments, including [jeux] live service, as part of this partnership, we will explore them.

We therefore do not know more, but the announcement is disconcerting, especially since the experiences cross gen tend to decrease over time. Hopefully these ports are of good quality.

If you want to buy Star Wars Jedi: Survivorit’s sold from €54.99 on Amazon.
