When Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order released in 2019, players were able to experience an untold story set years after the fall of the Jedi Order and the events we witnessed in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. The Empire terrorizes the galaxy and hunts down the last Jedi, to eliminate them. This is where we meet Cal Kestis, who turns out to be a Jedi, or rather a former padawan, then embarks on a fight against the Empire. The story was deep enough already, but it will be deeper, according to Cameron Monaghan.
Whoever lends his features to the main character has actually granted an interview to Game Informer, during which he indicates that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was going to give us a “ really interesting story »where Cal Kestis will have major challenges with important choices to make without there being necessarily good answers “. The latter goes on to say that the path Cal is taking was “ something i always really wanted to explore “.
The objective was therefore to offer a story that took up the bases that had been laid, while putting the main character in more difficult situations, so that the player benefits from a story ” deeper, darker and more complex “.
Hopefully this all feels good, so we can enjoy another epic adventure, which seems to be the case, as we watch the various Star Wars Jedi: Survivor trailers. As a reminder, the story will immerse us five years later, when Cal Kestis is determined to fight against the Empire in search of new allies, including Jedi.
