Star Wars: Jude Law’s “Skeleton Crew” wraps up filming

• The filming of the new “Star Wars” series “Skeleton Crew” has been completed.
• It is the first “Star Wars” children’s series that is not an animated series.
• Jude Law stars in the lead role. A Disney+ release has not yet been announced.

With “Skeleton Crew” we can expect a live-action children’s series from the “Star Wars” forge. The new series project with Jude Law in the leading role is to come to Disney + and has come a lot closer to the release: the filming has now been completed!

Taking to Instagram, stunt coordinator George Cottle shared a post in which he wrote: “Skeleton Crew has wrapped up filming!! Once again I was one of the lucky ones to be surrounded by some of the best stunt performers, with I’ve ever worked. I’m very lucky to have the opportunity to work with you guys. Thank you for your hard work and dedication! I’m so excited about this one [Projekt]!”

This reports US magazine Deadline. The post has since been deleted, so unfortunately we can’t embed it. It is unclear why Disney and Lucasfilm prompted Cottle to delete the post.

Stunt performer Juliana Potter is also said to have shared something in her Instagram story that has since disappeared into the endless expanses of the internet. The fact that the posts were deleted so soon after publication doesn’t necessarily mean that filming didn’t end after all.

Disney probably just doesn’t want fans to get excited about a release too quickly, after all, more “Star Wars” releases are starting this year. “Star Wars: The Bad Batch” season 2 is currently being released, while “The Mandalorian” season 3 will already start in March.
