Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Saber talks about the remake, is that reassuring?

Saber Interactive left Embracer Groupmaintaining control over several studios, including Aspyr Mediawhich theoretically develops a remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. A project announced in 2021, but the developer is silent, Saber Interactive took over the controls, but the title would have been on indefinite hiatus for many months.

IGN spoke with Matthew Karch, CEO of Saber Interactive, to discuss the development of the remake. The studio boss already confirms thathe has recovered the rights to Embracer Group and, better yet, development is active :

It is clear and obvious that we are working on this. This has been mentioned several times in the press. What I will say is that the game is alive and well and that we are committed to ensuring we exceed consumer expectations.

We will have to content ourselves with this short statement for the moment, but fans have reason to be reassured, the project is not dead. However, concrete information remains scant, the wait will undoubtedly still be long before we can get our hands on Star Wars: KOTOR Remakeexpected on PlayStation 5 and PC.

While waiting for the release of the remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republicyou can find Star Wars Jedi: Survivor from €34 on Amazon, Cdiscount And there Fnac.
