Initially released in September 2003 on the first generation Xbox, before arriving a few weeks later on PC and Mac, this adventure undoubtedly left its mark on its time, influencing, at the same time, many games that came afterward.
Published by Embracer Group, the remake of this iconic title now seems to be encountering serious difficulties. If development had originally been entrusted to the Aspyr studio, it was ultimately Saber Interactive who took over. It is rumored that a demo developed by Aspyr had been unveiled to Sony and Disney in 2022, but it would not have succeeded in convincing them.

Additionally, during a phone call related to Embracer Group’s quarterly results, the company reportedly simply refused to share any news regarding the game’s progress.
