To begin the Jet Kordo Legacy side quest, which allows you to retrieve the scoundrel outfit, you must first have completed the Toshara main quest, and therefore have retrieved the Trailblazer’s hyperdrive engine. From there, go to the back of the Trailblazer, on the table next to the one where you can upgrade your blaster. You can interact with an object on the table, which starts a conversation between Kay and ND-5. It is then that Kay learns that the previous owner of the Trailblazer is a certain Jet Kordo and that he has scattered caches all over the galaxy that can be found using a holo tracker.

Scumbag Belt

The first piece of the scoundrel outfit to collect is the scoundrel belt. To do this, the game normally asks you to recognize the shape represented by the holo tracker. This is the Typhon Rock on the planet Toshara which is located in the south of the map in the Lost Steppe region, more precisely in the north of the area. You can’t miss it because it is the main relief of this area.

Once there, head south of the rock to face a metal structure that serves no purpose other than as a landmark. Around this building, head south to discover a rock marked with the symbol of Jet Kordo in white to activate the holo tracker which will start beeping to show you the right direction.

Once the beeper is activated, go down to the left to get off this small relief. Once at the bottom, go deep into the rocky massif with orange-red stones to go down again and sink into the massif.

Once in the cave, you will find a kind of switch on a rock on the left. This is where you will have to insert a holodisc which lowers a ladder, giving you access to Jet Kordo’s hideout and therefore to the thug belt.

Scumbag pants

To retrieve the scumbag pants, the process is much more complicated than for the belt. You will first have to open a first safe that does not give any equipment before being able to open a second one that contains the scumbag pants.

First Vault in Akiva

In Akiva, you will need to have completed the main quest there and collected the speeder’s hydrorepulsor upgrade to progress. Rest assured, it is obtained in the main quest, so you will be able to take care of this safe no matter what once it is completed.

Head to Myrra on Akira, just across from the Pyke base, to trade with a strange merchant who sells a mysterious holodisk for 100 credits. The location indicated by the holodisk is northwest of Salea’s Hand (Myrra Valley), which is located at the very south of the Karaba Foothills. You will recognize the location by this strange structure made of balls on top of it.

To get there, take your speeder from Myrra to quickly reach the river to go to Salea’s hand. After a while, you will see on the bank a sort of dilapidated and lit house and it is there that you can park your speeder to continue on foot.

Once you have passed the arch, go to the left of the tall house to climb up until you find a tree trunk that allows you to cross and reach the foot of the strange cylindrical structure. After crossing, go to the right, near the ruins, to find two lights that will indicate where the rock is.

Once activated, return to your, cross the log again and go this time to the right following the path. After a while, go down to reach some ruins. Once on the ground, go forward and turn left after the red brambles in some ruins, yes go immediately to the right to activate the switch and see the hatch open in the distance. In the chest, you get “Jet Kordo’s Legacy – Part 4” and a “Blaster Recirculator”, but the most important thing is to read the yellow tablet on the table which gives you a clue to find the next safe where the thug pants are.

Second Vault in Akiva

As ND-5 suggests, the next chest will first require you to eavesdrop on a conversation between two Hutts to find it. Head to Myrra, next to the fast travel point in Satraps’ Promenade to hear them talking about a new guy who has a holodisk.

To find it, head to the Hutt Cartel in Hunter’s Canopy to the west. West of the poaching outpost, you’ll find another small camp that’s marked on the map by a marker. Once there, use Nix to rob the guards until you come across the stolen holodisk. Once in hand, it’s time to head to the rock to activate the frequency.

Head north of the Great Basin to find the rock and activate the frequency. The latter is located next to a small rock away from a large rock formation, still in the Great Basin.

Once activated, go to the far north of the Great Basin to find a small passage accompanied by a springboard that will take you to the famous cache. In the safe, watch out for the alarm that will activate when opening the chest, which will activate a turret. You can paralyze it with your ionic shot before deactivating it with a switch located behind it. Once done, congratulations, you have recovered the scoundrel pants! Now, on the way to Tatooine.

Scoundrel’s jacket

To collect the third and final part of the Scoundrel Set, the Jacket, head to Mos Eisley on Tatooine. Fast travel to Chalmun’s Cantina. Approach the pile of scrap metal to interrupt a conversation between a green Twi’lek and a female Freelancer.

This is when you are told to go to the village of Wayfar, in the Great Plain of Chott Salt. There, go to the center of the village to listen to an inversion between two engineers. The young woman will give you information for 50 credits or for free if you are close to Hutt.

It’s time to find this treasure hunter north of the Eastern Dune Sea. You should come across a crashed speeder and following the tracks behind it will lead you to a nest of sand monsters where the holodisk is located.

To find the location of the rock to activate, we always stay in the Western Dune Sea, rather in the part, where there are three rocks.

Once activated, simply go down a little to the southwest to find a sort of container buried in the sand. There, insert the holodisk to discover a generator on which you only have to shoot with your ion shot to open the entrance to the last safe. Congratulations, you have all the elements of the scoundrel outfit!

Of course, there are more safes to discover in the Star Wars Outlaws galaxy, but here are the four you need to do to get Jet Kordo’s scoundrel outfit.
