In Star Wars Outlaws you take on the role of Kay Vess and navigate the underworld. Massive Entertainment has developed a reputation system that is intended to reflect your position within various criminal organizations.

As Game Informer reports, you interact with four syndicates throughout the game, including the Hutt Cartel under Jabba and Crimson Dawn under Lady Qi’ra. With your decisions you should be able to improve or worsen your reputation with the individual factions.

Good relationships should give you advantages such as better orders and access to special goods. However, negative feedback on your actions can lead to difficulties, especially if you enter areas that are not open to you.

In addition to the reputation system, the imperial wanted level is another central aspect of the game. This increases if you violate the Empire’s rules, which can lead to increased persecution by Imperial troops.

A high wanted level makes it more difficult to hide and may require bribes or completing particularly challenging missions to defuse the situation.

A similar search system already existed in Assassin’s Creed Mirage. It remains to be seen to what extent this system will ultimately be found in Star Wars Outlaws. The game will be released on August 30th for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X.
