Star Wars: The Ahsoka Series will be released on Disney+ sooner than expected!


The Disney+ platform will finally broadcast “Ahsoka”, its original Star Wars series, earlier than expected!

You won’t have to wait any longer “long ago” to discover the new adventures taking place in “a galaxy far, far away”. Disney+ has just formalized good news, confirming that its new Star Wars original series will finally be released sooner than expected!

On August 23, the streaming platform will unveil Ahsoka, a series dedicated to the character of Ahsoka Tano. Heroine of the animated series The Clone Wars, also appeared in Rebels, this former Jedi was notably Anakin Skywalker’s padawan before his switch to the dark side.

Ahsoka Tano made her first appearance as a live-action character in The Mandalorian Season 2, as Rosario Dawson. The latter also appeared in the miniseries The Book of Boba Fett, alongside Luke Skywalker and Grogu (formerly known as Baby Yoda).

The American Disney+ Twitter account nevertheless surprised fans by announcing that the first two episodes of the series will finally be broadcast a day in advance. Their launch is now scheduled for this Tuesday, August 22, from 6 p.m. A change of only a few hours, but which will allow fans to discover the series sooner than expected!

In France, platform subscribers will also be able to discover the series in advance, since the simultaneous launch of episodes 1 and 2 of the program will take place on the night of August 22 to 23, from 3 a.m.! A symbolic change of schedule, but which will allow the earliest holidaymakers to discover the program as soon as they wake up.

In addition to Rosario Dawson in the title role of Ahsoka Tano, the cast of the Star Wars series includes Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Hera Syndulla), Natasha Liu Bordizzo (Sabine Wren), Eman Esfandi (Ezra Bridger) and Lars Mikkelsen (the Grand Admiral Thrawn). Also note the appearance of Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker (via flashback scenes).

The Ahsoka series can be found every Wednesday exclusively on Disney+ from this Wednesday, August 23.
