A first trailer of “Star Wars: Visions” has been released. This is what fans of the new anime series on Disney + can expect.

New anime-style “Star Wars” stories: There is now a first trailer for the series “Star Wars: Visions” from the streaming service Disney +. It promises a lot of action, dark pictures and a lot of variety in the different episodes.

“Visions” will show nine animated short films from various well-known anime studios. Among the English-speaking speakers for the project, which was announced for September 22nd, are some big names, including Alison Brie, 38, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, 40, David Harbor, 46, George Takei, 84, Neil Patrick Harris (48), Lucy Liu (52) and Temuera Morrison (60), who plays the bounty hunter Boba Fett in the series “The Mandalorian”.

“Unique Vision”

In a statement on “starwars.com” it says: “Lucasfilm is partnering with seven of the most talented anime studios in Japan to bring their signature style and unique vision of the ‘Star Wars’ galaxy to this inspiring new series.” The stories showed “the full range of bold storytelling found in Japanese animation; each narrated with a freshness and voice that broaden our understanding of what a ‘Star Wars’ story can be, and celebrates a galaxy that has so inspired so many visionary storytellers “.
