The farm house, tips to improve and enlarge it

How to extend your house?

If you want to improve and therefore expand your farmhouse, you will have to go to a specific place. Indeed, you must head north of Pelican Town, in the Mountains region. There, you can access the Sawmill, managed by Robine.

It is by interacting with it that you will see the mention “ Improve the house in a dialog box appearing on the screen. By clicking on it, Robin will tell you the resources and the amount needed to expand your farmhouse. You will need to have them in your inventory to proceed.

Farm house improvements

Know that, on Stardew Valley, you can perform up to 3 upgrades for your farmhouse. Each time, you will then get a new piece, or even several. But, without further ado, discover the various possible improvements and expansions for your farmhouse.

  • First improvement
    • Cost: 10,000 gp and 450 Wood.
    • Added: Kitchen.
  • Second improvement
    • Cost 50,000 gp and 150 Hardwood.
    • Added: An empty room and a nursery (with a crib and two beds).
  • Third improvement
    • Cost: 100,000 gp.
    • Added: Cellar (with barrels).

Note that for each improvement, Robin needs some time and the enlargement will only be effective after a few days. After completing these 3 upgrades, you will be able to renovate your farmhouse multiple times. For that, you will (always) have to contact Robine, at the Sawmill.
