What to do in Stardew Valley in winter?

Winter is a very unique season and is judged to be difficult, on Stardew Valley. Indeed, during this period, the ground is frozen. This prevents players from growing and cultivating most crops other than Winter Seeds. As a result, you may find yourself a little lost and not knowing what to do during this period, especially at the beginning of your adventure.

Thus, here are some actions that we recommend that you perform during the winter seasonon Stardew Valley :

• Unlock the Greenhouse
  • This is a location, available from the start of your game. However, the Greenhouse is unusable as it is. You have to fix it. There are two ways to do this, depending on your choice between Junimos and Joja:
    • Bring back all the items requested via Cellier Packages, from the Community Center.
    • Purchase the repair via Joja’s Community Development Form (35,000 gp).
• Take advantage of this period to explore the mines as much as possible.
• Take an interest in fishing to earn money, improve your skills, and complete Community Center requests.
• Complete different quests.
• Render services to the villagers of Pelican Town, according to their needs (notified on the bulletin board).
• Upgrade your tools from the Blacksmith.
• Attend events organized by Pelican Ville.

Spend your first winter on Stardew Valley can be quite confusing at the start of an adventure. However, we advise you to use this time to undertake many things for your farm and prepare it as well as possible for the coming seasons.
