Starfield rows? Todd Howard advises you to “improve your PC”

Officially available since last week, Starfield has already welcomed millions of players on PC and Xbox Series X|S. Role-playing in space Bethesda has quite a bit of quality, but also defects, notably bugs but also crashes and freezes on computers.

During an interview with Bloomberg Technologyjournalist Ed Ludlow asked Todd Howard, director of Starfield, “why didn’t he optimize his game for PC?” ». And the answer is rather scathing:

Um…we did it. It runs well. It’s a next generation PC game, we really pushed the technology, so maybe you should upgrade your PC for this game.

Yet, Many gamers have a recent computer that perfectly meets the configurations recommended by Bethesda and which suffer from optimization problemsthat an update could correct that said (some mods amateurs have already taken care of it). And to evoke “a new generation game” whereas, precisely, the main criticisms relate to dated mechanics and animations, there was only Todd Howard to dare to release it!

It is still worth remembering that video games are rare, even AAA, to be perfectly optimized for all PCs, as the configurations are different for each user. You can find Starfield has €62.99 on Gamesplanet.
