Start of prospecting work for IP anomalies northeast of the K2 project

MONTREAL, Sept. 02, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Dios Exploration is very pleased to announce the start of prospecting work for induced polarization anomalies (PP) promising plants in the northeast of the project K2 in volcanics south of the gabbro intrusions, 9-10 km southwest of the gold discovery patwon. Drilling will begin in mid-September.

MJ Girard, President of Dios said: “We are very excited to begin this prospecting and drilling work on these anomalies PP because in addition, we already know that some are associated with an assemblage of pyrite and chalcopyrite and with showings of gold, copper and silver and what is more, there does not seem to be any pyrrhotite at the showing of Badji. The very recent network of lines of the PP will also be very useful for this work. »

The property K2 wholly owned in James Bay, Quebec (Eeyou Istche) is located at this location north of the Opinaca fault, in the same formation as on Azimut’s Elmer property.
