Exotrail and ThrustMe in satellite engines; Orbex and Isar Aerospace in microrockets; Iceye and Nexeya in nanosatellites; Preligens and Unseenlabs in data analysis services… These European start-ups want “make space differently”, drawing inspiration from digital methods, which combine breakthrough technologies, rapid development and reduced costs. This, by breaking with the habits and customs of a space industry dominated since the 1950s by historical agencies and groups.
