In order to enable planning horizons for the independent scene and regional cultural initiatives and to be able to fund projects that go beyond annual budget estimates, the Styrian Culture and Art Funding Act provides for the possibility of multi-year funding agreements. Multi-year cultural funding amounting to 21.9 million euros has now been decided.
For the years 2023 to 2025, 130 projects or plans could thus be proposed for a multi-year funding agreement with a total amount of €21 million. “I am proud that we can experience such a diverse and vital culture in Styria,” says Provincial Governor Christopher Drexler.
