March 2022 State of Play: what’s on the schedule?

Officially, Sony has announced a 20-minute conference only devoted to updates of games already known for the PS4 and PS5 but also to some surprises. In his blogthe firm also announces that it wants to place particular emphasis “on great games from some of our beloved Japanese publishers, but we’ll also have some updates from other developers located around the world.”

Will we finally have a release date for Harry Potter Hogwarts Legacy?

March 2022 state of play: what are our expectations?

The year 2022 has started very well for Sony with several titles on PS4 and PS5 winning the top sales in France and around the world: Elden Ring, Horizon Forbidden West or even Gran Turismo 7 will have allowed millions of fans to enjoy as it should be PlayStation consoles. But the year is obviously just beginning and other major games are to be expected.

Many fans are obviously hoping for a new gameplay trailer (and release date) for the very ambitious Harry Potter Hogwarts Legacy. Unfortunately, there probably won’t be any new information on the Forspoken exclusivity since the game has been pushed back to October. No VR either as indicated in the PlayStation blog but perhaps new features on God of War Ragnarok, Final Fantasy Stranger of Paradise or even Gotham Knights?

It’s not official yet, but the negotiations seem quite advanced and in a while we could see Kratos on the small screen, in a live-action God of War series.
