Techland has updated the post-launch roadmap for Dying Light 2: Stay Human with a postponement. The first narrative paid content will not be released in June but a few weeks later.

Another small delay for Dying Light 2: Stay Human, which needs time to finalize its first paid scripted DLC. A postponement of a few weeks.

Dying Light 2: no DLC in June

Dying Light 2 is going to have a very long follow-up of at least 5 years with both paid and free content. And precisely, this summer, in June, the players should have received the 1st paying DLC of the season pass. Unfortunately, there is a setback and Techland is forced to postpone the release to September. If it’s available before the 30th, it will still be summer though.

The Polish studio spoke about this delay from the game’s Twitter account:

Dear pilgrims,

Your feedback has always been a top priority for us, so we want to be honest and transparent with you. We still need a little more time to develop our first story DLC. The release is now scheduled for the month of September. However, in June, we will introduce the first chapter of Stay human “In the Footsteps of a Nightrunner”, which will be filled with content and events, as well as the long-awaited Photo mode.

Between September and November, Techland will also launch the second chapter of the game with contents not indicated. The long version press release recalls the many improvements made to the title, as well as the integration of an NG+ to rediscover the software in another way.

Dying Light 2 is available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
