According to leaker Yogesh Brar, Samsung is targeting September to release its Galaxy 23 FE. We do not know, however, whether it will be a global launch, or limited to a few markets as various rumors suggested.
After skipping the Galaxy S22 FE, Samsung is back with a Fan Edition iteration attributed to its Galaxy S23. Very good news, given the favorable reception given to the Galaxy S20 FE and Galaxy S21 FE.
As a reminder, this family of phones aims to offer a high-end experience, but with small concessions capable of pulling their price down. And what is almost certain today is that Samsung would indeed have decided to reserve an FE version for its latest premium phone.
September in sight
Leaker Yogesh Brar – through X, formerly Twitter – is also giving a layer at the end of August. According to him, the release date would take place during the month of September. It must be said that the person concerned does not take great risks either.
In 2021, Samsung had discreetly formalized its S21 FE on August 25. If the Korean manufacturer follows a certain commercial logic, we could have expected a more or less similar release relating to the S23 FE. However, the month of September is fast approaching: the chances of him revealing it next month are therefore growing day by day.
A dotted launch?
This prediction agrees with that made by SamMobile last June, which nevertheless counted on a launch in the third quarter limited to a few selected markets. Before a more global marketing in the following months.
Yogesh Brar lists in passing several supposed technical characteristics of the phone, which we have already seen in other leaks: 6.4-inch Amoled and 120 Hz screen, Android 13, 4500 mAh battery, 25 W charge or even 50 megapixel main sensor.
