On Friday evening the sirens sounded due to a car accident near the Granitztal motorway bridge. The St. Andrä and Granitztal fire brigades responded immediately.
“The driver of the vehicle had left the roadway for reasons that are still unknown,” reports the St. Andrä fire brigade. “The vehicle overturned several times and ended up lying upside down in a meadow.” While the car suffered significant property damage, the passenger suffered injuries of an unspecified degree. The injured person was brought to the LKH Wolfsberg by the rescue team. In addition to the two fire brigades and the rescue service, the St. Paul – St. Andrä police were on duty.
