Steam: 28 million connected users, a new record

Steam continues to break attendance records, especially since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. The PC video game platform of Valve had thus reached the 27 million players connected at the same time at the end of November and even approached 28 million last week. A plateau now reached.

As indicated SteamDB, Steam brought together more than 28 million users connected simultaneously this Sunday, January 9, 2022, in the middle of the afternoon. It was precisely 28,230,853 that were connected to the Valve today, a new record. As always, not all were playing, and we find the same popular titles on Steam, to know CS: GO, Dota 2, PUBG, Apex Legends and GTA V.

Despite the increasingly active competition, Steam therefore remains the queen platform on computers to play. Otherwise, you can find games without DRM on GOG.com.
