Steam Next Fest: Play upcoming games for free
The gaming platform Steam has another round of its Steam Next Fest (game preview) started. You can do this for a week over 1,000 demos try out upcoming games. You still have that until June 20 at 7 p.m Time (Source: Steam).
New this time: On Steam badge, which can be upgraded with every demo played. As with previous events, the Steam Next Fest in June 2022 will be hosted by a live stream program accompanied. The developers present their upcoming games and answer your questions live while playing.
Which games should you definitely check out?
With the huge selection of over 1,000 demos, it’s easy to lose track. We show you our favouriteswhich are definitely worth a look:
- Terra Nile: A relaxed building game in which your task is to leave a clean world behind
- Metal: Hellsinger: A Doom-like first-person shooter that features a rhythm mechanic to propel you on your revenge trip
- Cult of the Lamb: An action-adventure with a special look in which you have to found a cult and expand it by any means necessary
- Midnight Fight Express: The name says it all – spooky streets, pounding beats and lots of action in this fast-paced beat ’em up
- Roots of Pacha: A life simulation reminiscent of a Stardew Valley in prehistoric times
Will there be another Steam sale?
Most of the playable games from the Steam Next Fest have not yet been priced and most of them are not yet available for pre-order. If you like a title, you should still have it on your wish list as soon as possible carry.
Because right after the Steam Next Fest starts Steam summer sale. From June 23rd there will be great bargains on the platform again. Maybe your chosen title will also be there (source: SteamDB).
