Steam: God of War hits like a bomb

Until God of War Ragnarök appears, fans have to be patient a little longer. But in the meantime, both console and PC players can sweeten the time with the predecessor. The game has already reached a major milestone on PC.

God of War: Also a great success as a PC version

A Metacritic rating of 94 shows that God of War is doing really well on console. The game was released for the PC a few days ago and the action-adventure is also available here an overwhelmingly positive response.

Just 24 hours after launch, God of War peaked at over 57,000 concurrent players, meanwhile the game is already at 73,529 concurrent players arrived in the last 24 hours. At this point in time, the game is also number 1 in the top sellers.

What about the upcoming game God of War Ragnarök? Will the game also come out for the PC? In an interview with Game Informer was himself God of War Director Cory Barlog not sure:

“I have no idea. At the moment we’re going one game at a time.”

Sony’s latest PC port conquers the Steam charts even before the official release. The fans’ anticipation of one of the best PS4 games ever is palpable – and PlayStation is continuing a remarkable trend of success.

With God of War, another one will take place tomorrow, January 14, 2022 well-known PlayStation franchise made its way to the PC. PC gamers’ anticipation of the award-winning PS4 game is now making itself felt in the top-selling charts on Steam. There, the adventure of Kratos and Atreus takes second place very close to the summit.

Steam: PS4 games create excitement

After PlayStation was able to celebrate success on Steam in the recent past with ports to Horizon Zero Dawn, Days Gone and Death Stranding, God of War is now also landing in the top seller charts. While early signs of Sony’s latest PC port are already looking very promising, the gaming giant will 2022 probably also the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection publish. PC gamers can look forward to the blockbusters Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy – although they will certainly have enough to do with God of War until then.
