L'Oréal Professionnel joins forces with Karl Lagerfeld, for the time of a collaboration. Together, the two Parisian brands are launching a very chic limited edition of the Steampod 3.0.
L'Oreal Professional has just announced the launch of a brand new product. In association with Karl Lagerfeld, the brand will be offering its iconic steam straightener for sale within a few weeks, in a very chic limited edition. On the occasion of this exceptional collaboration, the Steampod 3.0 dressed in black. Having in common this Parisian heritage and a certain elegance, L'Oréal Professionnel and Karl Lagerfeld have imagined a refined design, reminiscent of "effortless" chic. Also, the device will be sold in a beautiful black leatherette case, ideal for transporting it when traveling.
A campaign that aims to be inclusive
To best illustrate this collaboration, L'Oréal Professionnel has also thought of sharing a video campaign. Advertising filmed in black and white is intended to be inclusive. She actually puts forward all the women, all hair types. And this is a real desire of both brands. "There is no one model of beauty. And it's also a way to show the different uses of the Steampod on all hair types, the range of possibilities, styles " Claire Le Bleis, General Manager of L'Oréal Professionnel France, explains. As a reminder, the very first version of the L'Oréal Professionnel Steampod was launched in 2012. It was then improved. It was in 2019 that the latest 3.0 was born, always keeping the famous steam technology. The straightener does not then diffuse dry heat, which allows damage the hair less. The steam brings a pretty shine and a touch more soft. Also, "this type of technology offers a beautiful lightness to the hair for a more natural hairstyle. You can feel the movement of the hair" explains hairdresser Delphine Courteille.
The Karl Lagerfeld limited edition of the Steampod 3.0 straightener will be on sale for 264 euros at authorized hairdressers, in professional stores, and in certain e-shops from November.
