The next game from the Spiders studio (GreedFall and Greed Fall 2), Steelrising, is currently at the heart of video game news. Indeed, a new trailermainly focused onhistory of the gamehas just been unveiled, notably on the title’s Twitter account.
As a reminder, the events of Steelrising take place in the spatio-temporal setting of the 18th century. The title offers an uchronic version of one of the major historical events of our country, the French Revolution. Indeed, and as we can see in this new video, Louis XVI has surrounded himself with an army of mechanical creatures and is wreaking havoc in Paris, killing many innocent people.
Thus, the players are invited to restore peace, and will then be part of the Revolutionary camp. They will embody Aegis, a female automaton in the service of Queen Marie-Antoinette. Formerly, Aegis had to entertain the queen. In view of the events, the automaton is now in charge of stopping the king.
A promise made is a promise kept.
