SteelSeries launches its Arctis Nova 5 gaming headsets and its Nova 5 Companion App

SteelSeries launches its new range of Arctis Nova 5 gaming headsets for Xbox, PlayStation, PC and mobile. The manufacturer’s objective is to offer accessible high-end products. These models (Arctis 5, 5P and 5X) come with the Nova 5 Companion App for iOS and Android.

A headset and an app designed for gaming

The Nova 5 Companion App provides access to more than 100 audio presets allowing players to adapt the sound reproduction according to their preferences. “Hear what others can’t with these advanced audio profiles for games like Fortnite, Apex Legends Or Minecraft,” the company explains.

With one button, the Arctis Nova 5 headsets allow you to switch from a 2.4 GHz wireless connection to Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. In terms of autonomy, these gaming models promise use of up to 60 hours. Fast charging allows you to recover 6 hours of use in just 15 minutes.

The manufacturer ensures that its Arctis Nova 5 gaming headsets allow you to obtain “a competitive advantage”even if we will take this statement with a grain of salt since all gaming models highlight this same advantage.

Among the technologies included, the ClearCast microphone features a new high-bandwidth chipset that supports 32KHz/16-bit audio for clear, clear communications. Sonar AI-Powered Noise Cancellation on PC provides optimal noise reduction in both directions. The Arctis Nova 5 headsets’ USB-C dongle makes it easy to transition between different gaming platforms.

In addition to the Nova 5 Companion App, SteelSeries offers Sonar Audio Suite software. This is an equalizer to better control the sound for gaming, team chat and microphone. Individual frequency can be adjusted according to players’ preferences.
