Stefan Raab brings high diving back to television. But the celebrities will not honor themselves on ProSieben, but on RTL.

Surprise at Cologne’s private broadcaster RTL: Stefan Raab (55) brings his legendary high diving from the former home broadcaster ProSieben to the competition. RTL announced this in a short statement. When asked by the news agency spot on news, a spokesman indicated that the show would also be produced by Raab TV and that the former “TV total” presenter held the license for the show. The show will be produced in the summer of 2022.

The concept of “RTL tower jumping” is based on the earlier programs, but would become “RTLiger”. Details about the show would be announced in good time, including the extent to which Stefan Raab himself was involved in the show. The broadcaster also did not want to reveal the participating celebrities and who is moderating the show, it is still too early for that at this point in time.

What was the original show about?

The original show “TV total Turmsprung” was held once a year from 2004 to 2015 and broadcast live on ProSieben. The basic idea: Celebrities try the technically demanding sport of high diving and are judged for their jumps. The sometimes funny and grotesque attempts of the celebrities were embedded in musical contributions.
