Designer Stella McCartney mourns the loss of Scottish top model Stella Tennant. "I'm going to miss you so, so terribly."
The surprising death of top model Stella Tennant (1970-2020) leaves star designer Stella McCartney (49) speechless. On Instagram, the British woman shared an old black and white snapshot showing women arm in arm. McCartney did not say when the recording was made. She addressed her words of farewell directly to her late friend.
"My dearest Stella," wrote McCartney, "I damn well love you and will miss you so, so terribly". For her, the Scottish model was an "inspiring woman". "Your soul and inner beauty surpass external perfection. May you ride the most perfect horse high above all of us." During this difficult time, the designer's thoughts were with Tennant's "breathtaking family". Tennant died on December 22nd at the age of only 50.
