(Boursier.com) — Moody’s has raised Stellantis’ credit outlook from ‘stable’ to ‘positive’. At the same time, Moody’s affirmed the carmaker’s long-term and senior unsecured issuer ratings at ‘Baa2′. The change in outlook reflects Stellantis’ continued progress in improving margins and leverage, said Matthias Heck, vice president at Moody’s. “A rating upgrade to Baa1 is likely if the business is able to maintain high single-digit operating profit margins and maintain sustainable leverage below 2.0x, despite challenges ahead. term in terms of higher inflation and risks to consumer confidence and affordability”.
