Stellantis: nomination

(Boursier.com) — Alexandre Sorel is appointed to the position of General Manager of Financial Services of Stellantis for Europe and South America, starting April 1. He succeeds Remy Bayle, who chose to retire after 38 years of career within the company.

Within the PSA Peugeot Citroën group since 1994, Alexandre Sorel has held various key finance positions. He was notably Financial Director in Belgium for the Peugeot and Citroën brands. In 2009, he joined the banking activities and then in 2015 he was appointed Financial Director of Banque PSA Finance. Later, he contributed to the acquisition of the Opel and Vauxhall activities in Europe and developed the partnership with BNP Paribas for financing activities. In 2017, Alexandre Sorel became Managing Director of Opel Vauxhall Finance, then in 2023, he took the reins of Stellantis Bank, multi-brand, in Germany, Austria and the United Kingdom.
