After the officialization of social leasing by the government, Stellantis has just unveiled its offer. Suffice to say that the automobile group is hitting hard, with 8 eligible electric models available between 54 and 149 euros per month.
As you may know, the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron gave the official kick-off for social leasing this Thursday, December 14, 2023. This flagship measure, mentioned for the first time in March 2022, will allow households to more modest to acquire an electric car at a lower cost (between 50 and 150 euros per month depending on the model).
After the government announcement, Stellantis has just unveiled its dedicated offer. And suffice to say that the automobile group hits hard by offering no less than 8 eligible electric models at Citroën, Fiat, Jeep, Opel and Peugeot. Note that all these vehicles also appear in the list of EVs eligible for the new ecological bonus, which came into force this Friday, December 15, 2023.

From January 1, 2024, the date on which social leasing will come into operation, the parent company of the Lion brand will immediately offer these 8 models which “covers city cars but also family vehicles”.
List of cars eligible for social leasing at Stellantis
But exactly what models are affected? Here is the complete list. Please note that the monthly payments do not take into account insurance and vehicle maintenance:
- Citroën will firstly offer the new ë-C3 at the exceptional price of 54 euros per monthwhile the ë-C4 will be aimed at large families from 129 euros per month
- Fiat is highlighting the Fiat 500e, one of the best-selling electric city cars in France, from 89 euros per month
- Opel takes part in the system by offering the Corsa Electric at 94 euros per month and the Mokka Electric at 119 euros per month
- As for Peugeot, the Lion brand will offer its new e-208 to 99 euros per month and its e-2008 to 149 euros per month
- Let’s conclude with Jeep with the 100% electric Avenger, displayed at 149 euros per month
By the end of 2024, the Stellantis catalog for social leasing will be supplemented by a new small electric city car from Fiat. We do not yet have details on this model. In addition and through a partnership with Spoticar, a company specializing in the sale of used cars, Stellantis will also offer a complementary range of recent used electric models (less than 42 months).
