Stellantis: supply agreement with Element 25

(CercleFinance.com) – Stellantis announced on Monday the signing of an agreement with the Australian Element 25 relating to the supply of manganese sulphate for its electric vehicle batteries.

Under the terms of this binding five-year agreement, Element 25 has agreed to supply Stellantis with extra pure manganese sulphate monohydrate for the manufacture of its battery packs.

This agreement provides for the start of deliveries in 2026 for a total volume of 45 kilotonnes, with options to extend the duration and increase supply volumes.

Element 25, which intends to supply this raw material from its Butcherbird project in Western Australia, also plans to build a processing plant in the United States.

Stellantis is also expected to take an equity stake in the Australian company.
