MILAN (Reuters) – Carmaker Stellantis’ production at its Italian Atessa plant, which makes vans, will be halted next week due to a shortage of components, unions said on Friday.
The Atessa site, located in the central region of Abruzzo, is the largest van production plant in Europe.
A spokesperson for Stellantis said that since the start of the pandemic, the group has been making decisions about its day-to-day, plant-by-plant operations.
