Shift Up launched last month Stellar Bladean action game which received a lot of attention before its release because of the unrealistic physique and animations of its heroine, but the title still offers a gameplay very interesting. The Korean studio has just filed an initial public offeringrevealing some interesting information.
The plans of Shift Up seem clear and already well established, the studio first wants to offer updates for Stellar Bladewith new elements of gameplayadditional content, collaborations with other licenses and even a PC version ! Exclusive to PlayStation 5 Sony, the game could therefore arrive on computers in the future. Better yet, the Korean studio wants to develop a sequel to Stellar Bladerecalling the commercial success of certain franchises AAA as God of War And Final Fantasywith 66 and 185 million copies sold respectively.
I have to say that Stellar Blade met with great commercial success, Shift Up does not give any sales figures but states that the title exceeded its expectations. However, the Korean studio is not going to bet everything on Stellar Blade, he is already thinking about another license. This is not new, Shift Up mentioned a AAA action-RPG in an urban science fiction world under Unreal Engine 5who will be cross-platform between consoles, mobiles and computers. Now known as Project Witchesdevelopment should intensify this year with new recruitments, for an exit “in 2027 or later”. Project Witches is presented as a “next generation mega subculture license that will surpass Goddess of Victory: NIKKE”in line with Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail And Fate/Grand Order.
Shift Up has some great projects on the way, the studio will continue to be talked about for a few more years. But, for now, all eyes are on Stellar Blade, Sony should announce sales figures soon, and why not confirm this PC port. You can find the PS5 version from €60.90 on Amazon, Cdiscount And Fnac.
