Step backwards for Eva Padberg? She has to pull the emergency brake

The first regular broadcast of “Let’s Dance” after the introductory show went according to plan for Eva Padberg, 44, and her dance partner Paul Lorenz, 37. With their slow waltz they were at least able to convince enough that they were one round further in the end. Actually the moment when the hard training starts again and, above all, the model has to push herself to her limits. But unfortunately the bill doesn’t go through this week. As Eva Padberg reported in her Instagram story on Sunday, she has to slow down in training. She writes: “Unfortunately it got to me a bit, so we’re taking a lot of breaks today and taking it easy at first. Learning the steps and some technique, but everything on the gentle cycle.”

And in her story on Monday, the mood doesn’t seem to be much better. She would be “really keen” – the irony of this statement literally jumps out at you. But at the end of the day, Paul Lorenz is optimistic in his Instagram story. “We had a good training session. Eva is trying very hard. We were able to push a little harder today than yesterday. So (I’m) confident for tomorrow.” There are still two days of training left for the Blue Eyes team – they are sure to make the most of it.

“Afraid of you”: Lulu Lewe was afraid of professional dancer Massimo Sinató

There was no great joy on both sides when it was decided that Lulu Lewe, 32, and Massimo Sinató, 43, would dance together on “Let’s Dance”. Now they have spoken openly to RTL about their initial reluctance. Both sides had difficult first impressions of each other.

“I have to admit, I was a little afraid of you at the beginning,” says singer Sarah Connor’s little sister, 43, about her experienced dance partner in a TV interview. Immediately after the announcement, she is said to have whispered this sentence in his ear. A sentence that Rebecca Mir’s husband, 32, didn’t understand – and frustrated him. They couldn’t hide their emotions from the TV audience. “Lulu just wasn’t happy at all” or “What was wrong with Massimo?” wrote fans on the Instagram account of the popular RTL dance show. For Lulu, the decision to dance with Massimo was simply very surprising. “This is the first partner who is afraid of me, I thought,” Massimo explained his not-so-happy facial expression on the show.

A bumpy start. But Massimo Sinató also had concerns – and prejudices – about Lulu Lewe: “I thought it was such a lazy sock!” Not at all! Both parties were able to address any concerns. “Then we sat down again and then everything worked,” said the singer about working with her dance partner. And the old “Let’s Dance” fan, who is taking part for the 14th time, also knows the game. “You always have to sniff yourself out first.”

Massimo Sinató and Lulu Lewe have already proven in the first regular show that they harmonize perfectly with each other on the dance floor and were rewarded by the jury with 19 points for their fiery tango.

Maria Clara Groppler is annoyed by players

It was already over for Maria Clara Groppler, 24, in the first regular “Let’s Dance” show last Friday, March 1, 2024. She and her dance partner Mikael Tatarkin, 27, were the first couple to leave the show. This not only triggers mixed feelings among those watching. The disappointment of being thrown out is mixed with a bit of frustration for the 24-year-old. In her Instagram story after the show, she wrote about an unfair cut by the production. The clip only showed scenes in which it seemed as if she wasn’t taking the matter seriously. This influenced the opinions of those watching, who now judged her negatively. “I’ve been preparing for this for weeks. It’s a shame that it was portrayed like that,” she notes.

Similar comments from followers can be read under one of her Instagram posts. One person writes: “All the other candidates are made to laugh at the MAZ (fate, bullying, injuries, failure), only with Maria everything was ridiculed. You get the feeling as if the production is becoming conscious here Want to control the voting behavior of viewers. Annoys me!” Many other comments are along the same lines.

The comedian and her dance partner had previously danced a cha-cha-cha and emphasized on Instagram in advance that they were “both really keen and hopefully want to delight you with our sexy moves for a long time.” The official “Let’s Dance” stage will no longer be available to them. But they have already announced that they still want to rehearse a little choreography every week and simply bring it to people via social media. This announcement is not only met with enthusiasm by Groppler’s Instagram fans. Also her previous colleagues Alexandru Ionel, 29, and Valentin Lusin, 37, show their support. Lusin writes: “What a great idea, absolutely. I’m looking forward to your dances.” So the show goes on.
