Stephen and Ayesha Curry’s fourth child was born a little early. But the little one is doing well, report the proud parents.
Basketball player Stephen Curry (36) and his wife Ayesha (35) have become parents for the fourth time. The couple announced the birth of their fourth baby in a joint post on May 26th. According to this, their son was born on May 11th.
“We are so grateful!”
“Our sweet little boy decided to come early!! He is doing great and we are finally home as a family of six,” the proud parents shared. “We are so grateful!” they wrote alongside a black and white photo of the NBA star holding the infant’s little hand. Finally, they revealed the name of their fourth child: Caius Chai.
Caius joins his older siblings Riley Elizabeth (11), Ryan Carson (8) and Canon W. Jack (5). Ayesha Curry revealed her new pregnancy just a few weeks ago with a cover story for her own magazine “Sweet July”. In the photos The cookbook author was already seen with a noticeable baby bump. They originally thought that her family planning was already complete, as she herself reveals.
Three was still one too few
“For so many years, Stephen and I thought we were done. We said to ourselves: ‘Three, that’s it, we’re not doing this again.'” Last year, however, they realized that they wanted to be parents again. “For me, the decision came about because I kept looking around and had the feeling that someone was missing.”
The athlete and the cook have been married since 2011. Their first daughter was born in 2012, daughter number two followed in 2015 and a son in 2018.
