Actor Steve Martin has received his first corona vaccination. He is happy but also has bad news to announce.

Actor and comedian Steve Martin (75, "Cheaper by the dozen") has both good and bad news to bring his fans. He announced publicly on Twitter on Sunday: "I just got vaccinated!" This is the good news. The bad: "I was vaccinated because I am 75 years old."

But joking aside. The actor was grateful for the corona vaccination he received. The vaccination appointment in New York City, for which he registered online, was "perfectly organized by the US Army and the National Guard," wrote Martin. His closing words: "Thanks to everyone and thanks to science."
