Generating the preview of a URL link in an email on Outlook is soon possible.
Microsoft is testing link preview on its Outlook e-mail software, a feature that could prove quite handy for users.
The link preview in the email body
How it works ? It’s simple, instead of having only a URL link in your mail on Outlook, you will also have an overview of the web page to which it refers. Depending on the configuration of the website behind, you will also be able to interact with this preview.
For the moment only available to Microsoft 365 users and Office Insiders, the functionality could be deployed very soon to the general public for the Outlook software, but also the application on smartphones.
