(Reuters) – Volodimir Zelensky said on Friday he received “good signals” on the delivery of new weapons to Ukraine during his tour of European capitals this week but said there was still work to be done for Ukraine to get the equipment it requires to face Russia.

“London, Paris, Brussels – everywhere I have spoken in recent days about ways to strengthen our soldiers. There are very important understandings and we have received good signals,” the Ukrainian president said in his daily video address.

“It’s about long-range missiles, tanks and the next level of our cooperation. But we have to keep working on that.”

The joint task of the Ukrainians, he added, is to “take everything that has been said and agreed and turn it into concrete supplies, concrete documents, concrete new lines of cooperation.”
