Stocks to follow on Wall Street (updated)

June 21 (Reuters) – Main stocks to watch on Friday on Wall Street, where futures contracts open 0.07% lower for the Dow Jones and the Standard & Poor’s-500, while the Nasdaq is expected to open higher of 0.04%.

* BROADCOM, SUPER MICRO COMPUTER and QUALCOMM fell by 0.8% to 1.2% in the pre-stock market in the wake of the fall of Nvidia, which lost another 1.5% on Friday, the day after a decline which has relegated it to second place in the highest market capitalization behind MICROSOFT.

* AMAZON is planning a major overhaul of its decade-long loss-making Alexa voice assistance service to include conversational artificial intelligence (AI) with two tiers of service and has considered a monthly rate of around $5 for access the premium version, according to sources familiar with the matter.

* BOEING, SPIRIT AEROSYSTEMS – Boeing is close to a deal to buy its former unit Spirit AeroSystems after the troubled fuselage supplier made substantial progress in talks with Airbus to separate their assets to unblock the deal, people familiar with the matter said Thursday. Shares of Spirit Aero were up 4 percent in premarket trading.

* AT&T – California has rejected the phone service provider’s request to stop offering services as a “carrier of last resort,” the California Public Utilities Commission, a state regulatory agency, said Thursday.

* VISA, MASTERCARD – China is pushing the two groups to reduce their fees for bank card transactions in the country, as part of an effort to facilitate payments for foreign visitors, Bloomberg reported on Friday, citing a source familiar with the matter.

* SOUTHWEST AIRLINES – The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced Thursday that it is investigating a Southwest Airlines flight that descended at low altitude 9 miles from Oklahoma City Airport on Wednesday. , while several incidents on the company’s flights in recent months have raised concerns.
