A violent blizzard rages in the jubilee episode (3,333) of the popular telenovela "Sturm der Liebe" (weekdays, 3:10 p.m., the first). The Hotel Fürstenhof will soon be cut off from the outside world. The situation is particularly dramatic for Eva Saalfeld (Uta Kargel), because the heavily pregnant woman is in labor there. But who can help her now?
While her husband Robert Saalfeld (Lorenzo Patané) and his father, Werner Saalfeld (Dirk Galuba), try to fight their way through the dangerous snow storm to the Fürstenhof, a potential helper fails. Dr. Due to his addiction to tablets, Michael Niederbühl (Erich Altenkopf) is unable to provide medical help to the expectant mother. And so Franziska "Franzi" Krummbiegl (Léa Wegmann) and Tim Degen (Florian Frowein) have no choice but to jump in as a midwife.
Wild shooting
The severe weather episode was shot with great effort on the grounds of the Bavaria Filmstudios near Munich: "One fog machine, two snow machines and four wind machines were used for this," reports the broadcaster. Sounds wild and apparently it was. "It was a very demanding shoot," confirms actor Lorenzo Patané (43), who also had to put up with a lot of cold and icy wind on this day of shooting.
The actor is looking forward to the broadcast even more: "I'm really looking forward to the episode myself," he says. Episode 3,333 is scheduled to air on March 3 at 3:10 p.m.
