Storm of Love: The break is shorter than previously thought

A shooting stop caused by the corona virus had recently made fans of "Sturm der Liebe" fear that they might have to do without new episodes for a very long time. The first has announced that it will continue to broadcast the series after only a "brief interruption". The first new episode (ep. 3,390) of the current season 16 is scheduled to run on June 22 in the first.

"After the corona-related shooting stop, we started shooting again after a few weeks," reports producer Bea Schmidt in a press release. Show in between "some of the best episodes from season nine (and) the exciting stories of the current season will continue in mid-June!"

News from Franzi and Tim

"Together with the broadcaster, we decided to suspend the broadcast of the current season. We are working on resuming shooting for season 16 while complying with all the necessary safety precautions," Schmidt said in April. In Bichlheim, from June 22, everything will revolve around the dream couple Franzi Krummbiegl (Léa Wegmann, 29) and Tim Saalfeld (Florian Frowein, 32).

"Sturm der Liebe" runs every Monday to Friday at 3:10 p.m. in the first.
