The departments concerned are: Hautes-Pyrénées, Gers, Lot-et-Garonne, Haute-Garonne, Tarn-et-Garonne, Lot, Corrèze, Tarn, Aveyron, Cantal, Puy -de-Dôme, Haute-Loire, Loire, Allier, Saône-et-Loire, Rhône and Ain.

Damage in the Southwest

Storms, heavy rainfall, hailstorms and strong gusts caused extensive damage in Gers, Tarn-et-Garonne and Lot. A huge stormy mass formed and gusts over 100km/h were recorded. A thunderstorm supercell could have caused a tornado. Damage is reported in the wake of this storm, including roads cut by trees downed by the winds. In Gers and Tarn-et-Garonne, there are reports of numerous power cuts as well as several flooded public buildings.
