Storms: Météo-France more than two departments on orange alert


The situation seems to be settling. More than two departments, against 28 at the start of the day, are placed on orange alert for thunderstorms.

PRead that two departments are now placed in the evening of this Monday March 13 in orange vigilance by Météo-France for thunderstorms: Savoie and Haute-Savoie. The others are only on yellow alert.

Only 13 departments are not under vigilance. All the others are scrutinized by Météo-France.

Strong gusts of wind

According to Météo-France, The stormy front now stretches from the Rhône valley to the country of Savoie “. “This Monday, March 13, the thunderstorms were virulent in the afternoon and evening: they gave strong gusts of wind (we often reached or exceeded 100 km / h in the Northeast)”, specifies the ‘body.
