New dome show on Sat.1 comes in mid-April

In the new Sat.1 show “Stranded… on the Honeymoon”, singles first get married and then get to know each other on their honeymoon.
Good news for friends of the dating show “Wedding at a glance”: Sat.1 is launching another dome show with a similar principle. The reality TV show “Stranded… in the Honeymoon”, in which twelve singles go on “the most romantic adventure of their lives”, as it says in a press release. The highlight of the show: first comes the wedding, then the getting to know each other.
Honeymoon without contact with the outside world
In fact, the candidates say yes to the previously unknown counterpart at the beginning. They then spend their honeymoon together on an island in the Indian Ocean without contact with the outside world. Cut off from friends, families and all distractions, the couples should get to know each other and, ideally, learn to love each other.
The format is reminiscent of the show “Wedding at First Sight”, in which singles who want to get married also say yes to each other without knowing each other. As the press release also reveals, the “adventure dating format” was developed by the same Danish production company, “Snowman Productions”. Under the international title “Stranded on Honeymoon Island”, the format has already been sold to five countries, including Australia, Portugal and the Netherlands.
