Last month, Square-Enix aired the launch trailer for Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, with a lot of advance it must be admitted. The publisher immediately gave details on certain demons, classes and places of the adventure, but he still had some in stock to present to us, which he is doing this week with some new visuals, some of which can be found on the next page.
We therefore find the 4th member of Four Fiendsthe aptly named Marilith (Where Malyris in French for an unknown reason that goes back at least to the GBA remakes…), a woman of the people Lufenian (yes, the trait of Tetsuya Nomura is felt a lot) which will have a link with the black crystals possessed by the team and the mysterious meadow seen several times (used in particular for the tutorial of the demos), the presentation of three ultimate classes which are the Black Knightthe Void Knight and the Ninjaas well as just as many places we will cross, the Mount Gulgthe Elder’s Tower and the cursed woods.

The Fire Demon. She launches a barrage of attacks with her six arms and confounds Jack and his allies with her quick moves, such as when she slams her long tail on the ground. Avoid his “Petrifying Gaze” attack at all costs.
The Lufenians

A mysterious people with whom Jack sees himself talking in the fragments of memories that come back to him. The words and actions of this people dressed in strange clothes do not betray the slightest emotion.
Classes
A class that grants extra attack power when you’re on the brink of death. The unique technique Darkness allows the Dark Knight to sacrifice HP and MP to inflict more Dark damage. It is in fact the most powerful class in terms of punching power, as long as you are willing to pay the price.
A class that allows you to intercept your enemy’s magic attacks and turn them into power. While the Void Knight’s special ability, Aegis Blade, is activated, a magic circle neutralizing incoming magic attacks and absorbing their strength will be deployed when he guards himself. The force thus absorbed can be converted into MP or a slashing attack.
This class allows you to use different combat tactics with its unique technique, Ninjutsu. Immobilize enemies and add status effects to your weapons without spending MP using your special ninja tools. You can replace the tools used by touching a cube, your exploration base.
Premises
A volcano with multiple perils, such as the molten lava that blocks your way, or the pockets of gas that explode because of the ambient fire magic. If you can’t stop the lava from erupting, you’ll have a hard time reaching the top.
A white building exuding an impression of unfailing otherness. Various strange mechanisms await the unwary who venture there, including traps and floating objects resembling urns.
A large densely forested area at the foot of the volcano. The moonlight struggles to break through the canopy, and the whole area is shrouded in a thick miasma. Walls of ivy and plants spewing poisonous gas stand in your way.

The release date of Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is set for March 18 PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC (EGS). Amazon propose it pre-order at €64.99.
