The first volume of season 4 of Stranger Things has broken all audience records – including a historic record – and popularity since it went online on May 27. Suffice to say that volume 2 is awaited with great impatience.

How many episodes?

Volume 2 of season 4 of Stranger Things will be available on July 1 at 9:01 a.m. and will consist of two episodes only. But these last two chapters will almost be films since they will last 1h25 and 2h19 respectively.

Who’s back?

Despite big scares at the end of volume 1, our heroes are all back in this volume 2 as the promotional photos tease. Deaths to be expected!

Prepare your tissues because this end of season 4 is likely to be very sad. The Stranger Things team affirms it, significant deaths are to be expected! And it wouldn’t be surprising since the different characters will eventually come together to fight a formidable new enemy, namely Vecna.

First, Noah Schnapp revealed that deaths were in the program of volume 2 of season 4 in the jimmy fallon show : “Expect some death and gore.”

For his part, Joseph Quinn (Eddie) characterizes the end of “carnage” to Guardian. Finally, the Duffer brothers confirmed to variety that there will be “a body count by the end of the season”. So who will succumb to Vecna?

A season 5 to end the series

As stated in a press release from the American giantStranger Things will end at the end of its season 5, as planned in the initial plan of creators Matt and Ross Duffer, even if spin-offs are to be expected:

“Seven years ago, we crafted the full story arc for Stranger Things. At the time, we planned the story to span four or five seasons. It turned out to be too big. to be told in four parts, but, as you will soon discover, the grand finale is approaching. Season 4 will be the penultimate season and Season 5 will be the last.”
